Environmental responsibility is central to Dunavox. For 20 years, we’ve combined expert wine storage with sustainable practices, using recycled and reusable materials, selective waste collection, and responsible sourcing. Our headquarters runs on a 100% heat pump system, with solar panels at our centre and warehouse, reflecting a long-term commitment to renewable energy and reducing our environmental footprint.

Reduce – Reuse – Recycle

The 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – shape Dunavox’s sustainability approach, guiding everything from design to after-sales service. Each cooler is built to last, backed by a 3-year warranty plus 2 extra years for the compressor, promoting durability, reducing waste, and supporting mindful consumption.

Reduce

The best way to reduce waste is to avoid creating it. Dunavox cuts unnecessary materials by using e-manuals, removing ozone-depleting gases, and moving towards fully paper-free offices – conserving resources and reducing energy use.

Reuse

We reuse packaging materials wherever possible, from cardboard and foam to pallets and transport buffers. Returned or damaged units are repaired, refurbished, and resold or donated, while office equipment is passed on to charities for a second life. 

Recycle

Recycling is integral to our supply chain. Packaging uses at least 50% recycled cardboard, foams are made from recycled polystyrene, and key components from recycled plastics. All sites collect and recycle waste responsibly, aiming for 100% recyclability in paper and polymer use.
